        The California Journalism Symposium

        The California Press Foundation proudly invites you to its 147th Annual Symposium, a gathering of industry innovators, educators, students and changemakers dedicated to shaping the future of journalism. The event will be held in person from 10 a.m- 5 p.m on Thursday, Dec. 5 at the Bahia Resort Hotel in San Diego, California. Tickets include program, deluxe lunch buffet and Thursday evening reception.

         

        This year’s theme, New Partnerships in Journalism, will explore groundbreaking collaborations between media organizations, academic institutions and communities, that are reshaping how we tell stories, engage audiences, and uphold the values of a free press.

         

        With speakers scheduled from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University and the Times of San Diego, this day-long event promises thought-provoking discussions, networking opportunities, and deep dives into the partnerships driving today’s most exciting media innovations.

         

        Whether you're a seasoned professional, an educator guiding the next generation or a student eager to make your mark — this event has something for everyone. Stay tuned for more details on speakers and sessions that will inspire and open new avenues for collaboration.
