2023 Equipment Grants: Applications Closed
Winners will be notified by May 31.
The postmark deadline to apply for the California Press Foundation’s 2023 Campus Equipment Grants program was Friday, May 12. Any California high school, college or university newsroom was eligible to apply.
These grants go toward the purchase of new hardware or software, or for upgrades to improve the quality of the campus media program’s content and delivery. Applicants must submit a 500 word essay describing their current equipment, its limitations, why they need new or upgraded equipment and how that equipment would improve their publications.
There is no minimum grant amount. The maximum amount for a grant is $1,500. Winners will be notified by May 31.
